Business Problem
One of our insurance clients was looking to develop enterprise applications that would help foster partner relations, improve customer service, and increase overall productivity. However, to achieve the anticipated return on investment, they needed to be able to communicate with existing external established systems.
KMG’s Solution
The decision was made to develop an intelligent interface engine, to operate as a communication gateway, for receiving information requests that were submitted by trust-worthy senders. To guarantee security, if an entity was not recognized, the command was to be thrown away. For further protection, the interface engine was the only system in a closed ecosystem that was able to communicate with external systems, which made it easier to ensure that the highly sensitive information that it collected about each potential insurance candidate remained secure.
